Before we study tenses, let’s understand the auxiliary verbs fisrt.
Auxiliary verbs are a verb used with main verbs to show tense and to form question.
It envelops; “tobe” and “modals”.
Auxiliary can be divided into three kinds :

a. Auxiliary is as:

Do, does, have, as (present)
Examples:
Do I eat a banana?

“ They “
“ We “
“ Ali and Ani “
“ Monkeys “

Does He “
“ Ali “

“ Ani “
“ It “
“ A Monkey “

Have I eaten a banana?

Did, had (past)
