4. Verb

Verb is a Sound or Group of sound that expresses a meaning and forms an independent unit of a language. We call it “kata kerja”.
There are three categories in verb: Transitive intransitive and linking verb.
Transitive verb is a verb that is used with a direct object either expressed or understood. For examples:
Transform : A fresh coat of paint can transform a room
Answer : I am able to answer your questions
Speak : He Speaks several language: java, sunda, and a little Madura.

Intransitive Verb is verb not having an object that can be understood.
For examples:
Go : I go to school.
Arrive : we arrive in the class at seven o’clock in the morning
Stand : he stands up in front of us.
Linking Verb is verbs those explain no activities
For Examples:
Seem : you seem nervous today
Look : She looks so beautiful wearing a white veil.
Feel : I feel at home here
Verb can divided into two kinds; regular and irregular verb.
Regular verb is the changes of verbs from the infinitive to past tense and particple by adding “d” or “ed”.
