1. Vocabulary: Daily Activities and School Terms

English Word : Meaning

Wake up : To stop sleeping and get up

Brush teeth: To clean your teeth

Take a shower: To wash your body

Have breakfast: To eat the first meal of the day

Go to school: To travel to your school

Study: To learn or review lessons

Attend class: To be present in a lesson

Lunch break: Time to eat lunch

Do homework: To complete school assignments

Sleep: To rest your body by sleeping 


2. Grammar Focus: Simple Present Tense

The simple present tense is used to talk about habits and daily routines.

Structure:

Subject + Verb (add s/es for he, she, it) + Object

Examples:

• I wake up at 6 a.m.

• She brushes her teeth every morning.

• They go to school by bus.

3. Adverbs of Frequency

These words show how often you do something:

• Always

• Usually

• Often

• Sometimes

• Never

Example Sentences:

• I always do my homework after school.

• He sometimes eats lunch at the canteen.

4. Sample Paragraph: Daily Routine of Rio

My name is Rio. I wake up at 5 a.m. every day. After waking up, I brush my teeth and take a shower. I always have breakfast with my family before I go to school. I go to school by motorcycle. My classes start at 7 a.m. I study Computer Engineering, and I love this subject very much. After school, I do my homework and sometimes take a short nap before dinner.

5. Speaking Practice:

• Describe your daily routine using the simple present tense.

• Use adverbs of frequency to say how often you do activities.

• Practice asking and answering questions about your classmates’ routines.

6. Writing Practice:

Write 5–6 sentences about your daily routine. Use these guiding questions:

• What time do you wake up?

• What do you do in the morning?

• How do you go to school?

• What subjects do you like?

• What do you do after school?

• Then, they enter their paragraph into ChatGPT (or any AI writing assistant).

• The AI will suggest improvements (vocabulary, grammar, clarity).

Example Prompt:
