1. Vocabulary: Basic Personal Information

Word Meaning

Name: What people call you

Age: How old you are

Address: Where you live

Occupation: Your job or work

Hobby: What you like to do in free time

Friend: Someone you know well and like 


2. Grammar Focus: Verb “To Be” (am, is, are)

Use am with “I”, is with singular subjects (he, she, it), and are with plural subjects (we, you, they).

Examples:

• I am a student.

• She is my friend.

• They are classmates.

6. Speaking Practice

• Practice introducing yourself in front of the class.

• Interview a classmate using questions about their name, age, address, hobby, and future dreams.

• Introduce your classmate to the class.

7. Writing Practice

Write a short paragraph to introduce yourself using the sentence patterns above. Include your name, age, where you live, your school, your hobby, and your future aspiration.

Instructions:

• Open your AI chatbot (e.g., ChatGPT).

• Use the prompt below to start a conversation:

Prompt:

“Hi, I’m learning English. Can you help me practice introducing myself in English?”

• Answer questions the AI asks you, such as:

• What is your name?

• Where do you live?

• How old are you?

• What is your hobby?

• What is your dream job?

• After the conversation, write down the introduction using what you told the AI.

Activity 2: Describe Your Classmate with AI Help

Instructions:

• Interview your classmate with questions like:

• What’s your name?

• Where are you from?

• What do you like to do?

• Use this prompt with AI:

“Can you help me write a paragraph to introduce my friend? Here is the information: [write the answers you got].”
